• Royal Statistical Society

  The Royal Statistical Society (RSS), founded in 1834, is one of the world’s most distinguished and renowned statistical societies. It is a learned society for statistics, a professional body for statisticians and a charity which promotes statistics, data and evidence for the public good.   BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT is here to make IT good for society. BCS promotes wider social and economic progress through the advancement of information technology science and practice.   The Operational Research Society is the professional home for the operational research and analytics community in the UK. As a member-led professional body and registered charity, it supports operational researchers working across industry, government, healthcare, defence, education and academia.
  

  The Society promotes the understanding and practical application of operational research to help organisations and individuals make better decisions and solve complex problems. Its work spans professional development, publications, conferences, training, accreditation, and outreach activities designed to raise awareness of the value of OR across business, public services and education.
  

  With more than 4,500+ members globally, the Society brings together a global community of practitioners, researchers and students who share an interest in using data, analytics and operational research to improve outcomes. • Institute of Mathematics and its Applications

  The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications is the professional and learned society for mathematicians in the UK and exists to support and promote mathematics and its applications for the public good. It has over 5500 members, mainly professional mathematicians employed in business, industry, government, education and academia. As the chartered professional body for mathematics, it awards professional designations for mathematicians, mathematics teachers and mathematical scientists.

• National Physical Laboratory
